Eye Rape...

...But the good kind.

Good work you fat bastard.

BlueHippo responds:

*jiggles*

That was great!

I'm a huge Sinatra fan, so I defiantly had hopes this wasn't some kind of joke, or stick figures. Or a lame ass attempt by the SS to get another crap movie passed. Anyway, back to the movie. I loved the animation, but it lacked in more than a few areas, which I'll cover below.

Graphics: For the most part, the graphics were great, and could have used a little more work in some parts of the videolike the jet sequence or the 'face' of Ole' blue eyes himself. Which looked nothing like him.

Style: I loved your version and take on 60's art appeal, it fit very nicely for the movie/video.

Sound: Eh, what can I say? Loved it.

Violence: N/A

Interactivity: Only the basic NG Preloader, was on this, which was rather dull to see, on top of that, it's the only interactive thing in the whole movie. So no praise can be found here, and this also, will be bringing the score for the review I gave down as well.

Humor: N/A - but, it would have been nice to see some.

Overall: A decent submission, with a great composition.

AlmightyHans responds:

ok, im not attacking you or angry, but, i DIDNT want the guy to look like frank sinatra if thats what you are saying about the blue eyes, i just made, some guy...second of all, i dont hink you should really judge me about the stupid preloader that i downloaded off newgrounds...I mean. if i could do amazing button graphics and crap, i woyuld put them. you should Judge me more for what i HAVE there, not for what SHOULD have been there (at least not much) because i dont have MIND controll powers to read the minds of people and do everything they want. And no, even if you insist i dont agree with the instrting humor part...i think it would have ruined it. And thank you so much for the good comments, yes i do like the 60's style i chose, so much that i have it in the next animation that im working on now! :D

(note: all Capital letters dont show anger, but act as an underline)

LOL

You know, Sirkowski....

You pretty much nailed 80% of the reviewers on Newgrounds, on that last part of the movie.

I should know.... I'm a Review Moderator here on NG.

Great animation as usual, I love how you are always finding new styles to use for your movies, and the way you implement them.

Graphics: Be-a-utiful as always.

Style: Very impressive story boarding quality, visual effects like the flowers, and the guitar strumming were nice touches, made it feel like a music video.

Sound: I didn't care much for the quality here, I could here distortion in Miss Dynamite's voice.. : /

Violence: Heh, STAY OUT OF MY DREAMS YOU.... that scene says it all to me.

Interactivity: I was confused at first, I thought it might be a sim for a second there... same stuff as usual from you... a menu and stuff like scene select would be a great addition to this already masterful animation.

Humor: Not as funny as your take on the Terri Shiavo case, but still made me laugh any how.

Overall: A great piece of work, keep it up!

Sirkowski responds:

Thanks, Mr. Mod! :)

Plot?

I went back, and watched the others, and I wasn't quite able to see a solid plot really, not important I guess.

Graphics: Good job, as far as this category goes, though I am not a fan of the style.

Style: It seemed like you made the animation first, and then, made up the lines for the voice acting. Not a good job.....

Sound: As somewhat explained above, I didn't like the acting in this one, quality, and character were lacking.

Violence: No blood, but the little guy kicks some ass.

Interactivity: Meh, as long as you have two buttons, replay, and play, you get a base score from me here, even though nothing else at all about this was interactive.

Humor: I didn't find it funny, even if it was meant to be, which I kinda inferred that from it.

Overall: Good all around job, try adding some background to this next time, and increasing the quality of the acting, no offense.

Super-Blackball responds:

there was no back ground coz if u watch 3 he dies and goes to limbo where there is...nothing but thanks for the review man :) take care

Decent

Graphics: The graphics in this, were alright, but nothing really special, notable over use of Tweening, brought this score down a little.

Style: Just like the animation, I didn't really see anything, different, or interesting here, good overall though.

Sound: Wow, the sound, even though well thought out, and fitting, was way to low on quality.

Interactivity: At least you put a replay button at the end, not doing so, something that is becoming a trend now, is annoying.

Humor: They were funny skits, but, this animation needs more effort.

Overall: You worked hard on this, that much is noticeable, so I gave you a passing vote, hopefully this won't get blamed. Other artists on this site, somehow get a lot shittier movies through, so I don't think you'll have to worry about that.

faye-smith responds:

It's frame by frame... only 2 tweens in this, the bird and fence!
I worked hard on this, but i'm new to flash =D

Thanks for your review anyway

That was great!

Love the randomness, that must have took a while to do all the MC's for that.

Coffee-lock responds:

Well, not really.
Well yeah I guess it did. :(

Interesting....

That was a nice little poem, I liked the way you did the vocals, with the minor distortion, it threw me off, but I listened closer, and could tell it was on purpose.

gambacurta responds:

That was just bad audio recording. But thanks for looking at the good side of it.

Needs work......

Graphics: Well, there was some animation, but everything was stiff moving, and felt un-animated, plus not much detail was given to the characters.

Style: I didn't care for the way you did the movie, honestly, but at least it is not stick figures.
3
Sound: You got a ten just for NOFX.
Violence: There was some, but not real violence, like for example the opening with the aliens and guys jumping up and down, getting smoked out.
3
Interactivity: You made your own buttons, which means effort was put into this. Although the scene selection didn't work for me, and just played the movie? Work on your Action Scripting.
5
Humor: Ditto as what I said for Violence.
4
Overall: I gave you a five, because this was neither a bad, nor a great flash. You have shown some talent, and that you know what to do, you just need to refine your methods more. Flowing and smooth animation would have raised this by more than a couple of points score wise. Try not tweening everything. If you make a MC, that is used in only one scene, you can up the frame rate, by taking the tween, and breaking it up into individual frames. That way the Flash player can skip frames as needed, instead of showing the entire tween you put into the MC.

Casualty responds:

thanx for the help

WOW!!!!

Graphics: Learn how to draw, if you want to do animation.
0
Style: OMG! All of you have mastered Tweening! Now try to actually try animating.
0
Sound: Awful, just awful. I guess when your movies, all suck harder than a crack whore blowing a cocaine covered penis, it matters not. Right?
0
Violence: I don't think dancing stick Hitler's, or a badly drawn Scarecrow vandalizing an five year olds depiction of a house, count as violence.
0
Interactivity: The Action Scripting was by far the best part of the submission. However, lack of back buttons in most of the shorts, and the "cut & paste" of Action Script, is obvious, since you preteens can't even make a passable submission without the blatant misuse of the portal.
1
Humor: Ha, please! Just the suggestion that this submission might have some, is the only funny thing here.
0
Overall: I don't think I really need to say more here.

TheStarSyndicate responds:

BARF!

Voted 5, here's why:

Graphics: Not great, but not bad for a FxF animation, no use of color brought this score down by 3 points.
5
Style: I liked the way you drew the figures, plain and simple, but see above for explanation of score.
6
Sound: I didn't really care for the music used, but it seemed to fit the animation.
6
Violence: Tons of it. :D
10
Interactivity: Standard play button, woo-diddly-hoo...
2
Humor: Seemed funny at parts, a over all animation that did not take itself too seriously.

I'd like to see more, but please put some more thought into the asthetics of the movie.

JGA responds:

Thanks that was the most longest and nicest review i got... O.O
Yay at least someone thinks its funny!
