Your movie was alright, definatly one of the better submissions to the portal.

I just had to say this. I wrote "Wow......" Because this is the third in a row Blam/Save movie I have seen. I don't mean I have just seen three in a ro, no, this was..... really weird. I had three movies open, to watch, I watch one, blamed it, and it popped up with the Blam movie. Cool I thought, next movie, yet another crap file. Zeroed it, and BOOM, another blam movie! Wow I thought, this is the first time I have seen this happen. Then I came to your movie, I thought it was humorous, well drawn, so I gave it a three, BOOM, a Save movie. WTF???? I wonder how many times this has happened?

Anyway, good job! I hope you understand why I cast my points the way I did, I'm in too much shock right now to do the usual step by step dissection.

"Good Concept"

Graphics: Smooth, well shaped, but some extra shading would have made them look better, plus, slightly better graphics than SR v.1.

Style: I had the feeling of playing a game geared towards the thirteen and down crowd. Not exactly Newgrounds intended age group.

Sound: A great improvement over SR v.1, sound loop didn't fight the action to me, but better than nothing.

Violence: Well, you bomb, and blow up stuff...

Interactivity: Key assignment was well placed, and at least you seem to have the right idea of making your own buttons. Unless this was a kit game, or demo, you seem to know your action script. By the way, you know NG offers a free to download, and customizable pre-loader, that is already scripted for you?

Overall: Well, you really should have made some bigger changes to upload v.2.0, but the effort is noticed. Good design, but no pre-loader, lack of fitting background music, and the whole "kiddy" feel of the game brings my score of the game down to a five. Make bigger and better changes before uploading a v.3.0. Like crashing when you hit buildings, or trees, sound clips for the plane moving, bigger changes to graphics like a cell shading style.

Violence: I guess a guy getting beheaded off screen, and then rolling into view and bleeding every where deserves a five.

Interactivity: Could have been higher, even if it was just a test, or preview. You should have enabled the credits, and the special features & scene selection menus, but linked them up in actionscript so they go back to the menu for this test.

Graphics: Well, that was done quite well, and showed real talant. Especially the ghost of Butterscotch, to be precise.

Style: I very much so like the style of this animation, minus the rather bad voice acting. Though that did give the animation, a certain story like feel.

Sound: Umm, well, you added the hoofsteps, and chains, but the voice over was horrible in my opinion.

Interactivity: Nice preloader, and I am as glad to see you took the effort to put redirect buttons at the end of the animation, instead of what most people here do, and redirect to the "on_load" command, for the preloader.

The animation used in this flash file is of a great quality, and you do have potential to rise in the ranks of "the best" on Newgrounds. Keep up the good work.

"Sprite Animations"

Don't take this personal, because I have given you a four.

Newgrounds is chock full of sprite animations from other games, used together, to make a completely different story line for the authors movie.

You seem to know what you are doing here, with the sprite you used, and the backgrounds, but you could have taken more time to use better sound, and to actually make a better menu for your movie.

I like how you set it up, but it was made lame, with the plain text used, and the black background. Thus interactivity was given a 4. Using Mortal Kombat's movie signature song, made me seal the deal on sound alone with a 4. The Humor, well, was not really funny, totaling up to a 2 here, lame reference in the beginning to AYB being part of that.

Also, no voice acting. I understand this can make or break a good movie, and by that, I understand why you might not have had any.

The fight scene was decent, also showing that your are not a regular sprite submitter. It merited a 5 on the fact nothing special was shown, or done.

All, in all, your work shows potential.

Spend some more time on your menu creations, like you did for your pre-loader, add better sound, and make it a little longer.

You would have some true quality content then. Keep the hard work up.
